Can you microwave a coffee mug?

Unfortunately, we don't recommend putting your stainless steel travel mug in the microwave (or your water bottle either, for that matter). The stainless steel will block your coffee from heating up, and it may even damage your microwave. Simply put, stainless steel and microwaves don't get along.

Is porcelain good for microwave?

Although porcelain itself is perfectly safe in a microwave, not all porcelain plates are safe to use in one. Some porcelain plates have additional decoration that might be damaged by being microwaved. If a porcelain plate has metallic decoration of any kind, you should not use it in a microwave.

Are ceramic travel mugs good?

We found both ceramic options to be too heavy for toting around, and the double-walled ceramic option didn't retain heat well enough to be considered a strong contender. However, Ello's two vacuum-insulated stainless steel mugs hold heat well, are shockingly spill-proof, and look good.

Is ceramic dangerous?

Its ingestion can cause damage to the kidneys and nervous system and it is especially dangerous for babies and small children. Ceramic cookware is liable to contain lead that may leak into and contaminate food.

How long can I expect to get the sample?

After you pay the sample charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 6-8 days. The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3-5 workdays.

Can you match a specific color for the glaze on the mugs I am ordering?

Sorry, we cannot guarantee a perfect color match with our glazes due to the limited amount of glaze colors we have as well as the variation in the way our glazes can look on the final product due to the forces of mother nature.
